education and accomplishments
Kelli Riley has devoted her career to forging best practices in employment law. She earned her law degree, cum laude, at the University of St. Thomas School of Law and served as Membership Editor for the school’s flagship law review. She also served low-income and Spanish-speaking clients in the school's Bankruptcy Clinic as a student attorney.
Additionally, she’s studied at the University of Colorado at Boulder and received her undergraduate degree in both History and Spanish & Portuguese Language and Culture in order to better serve the varying communities
Ms. Riley won a wage case before the Colorado Supreme Court in 2022 with tremendous support from Towards Justice and the PELA Amicus Committee. This case got four truck drivers overtime pay after almost seven years of litigation.
In 2017, Ms. Riley was named the Towards Justice Wage Justice Champion for exceptional service to immigrant and low-income workers in Colorado and in 2018, she received the Andrew Borg Award from the Weld County Bar Association for Outstanding Service to the Indigent Community. Ms Riley has been a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2019-2023, and in 2024 was named a Super Lawyer.

Publications and Speaking Engagements
Ms. Riley published an article on Zoom Trial tips in the Colorado Lawyer during the height of the pandemic after learning in the trenches. Ms. Riley presents on employment law regularly. She speaks each semester to CSU Business students about Colorado employment laws.
Ms. Riley has presented continuing education classes for attorneys and professionals on mentoring, using government resources to collaborate for clients with disabilities, and on being a great boss.
