MOLLY REINHARDT
ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Prior to pursuing her law career, Molly worked for nearly seven years as a sales consultant, during which Molly developed strong communication and negotiation skills that serve her well as an attorney. After receiving two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Houston, Molly pursued a career in education. Molly taught U.S. History to eighth graders at a Title I middle school where she gained ample experience in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), Section 504 plans, and other forms of public accommodation and specialized services. Although Molly always had an interest in law and government, it was not until she taught the U.S. Constitution and key U.S. Supreme Court cases to her students that she knew for sure that she wanted to be an attorney.
After three years of teaching, Molly left public education and enrolled in law school at Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center. Applying her years of experience in communicating with, and persuading, both prospective buyers and angsty teenagers, Molly excelled in the many trial advocacy and moot court competitions in which she participated. At LSU, Molly was a finalist at two national moot court competitions, received two C.A.L.I. Excellence for the Future Awards, and was selected for the school’s Ethics Committee, the Board of Advocates, and The Order of Barristers. Molly also interned at Louisiana’s Court of Appeal, First Circuit, and Department of Natural Resources.
Midway through her second year of law school, Molly decided to return to Colorado after her graduation. Although Molly spent most of her life living in Texas, she was born in Denver and has family in the Boulder area. To transition to Colorado, Molly applied and was accepted to be a visiting law student at University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law. At DU, Molly received a Scholastic Excellence Award, participated in DU’s Civil Practice Lab, and interned at the law firm Truhlar & Truhlar. Molly also spent a semester participating in DU’s Mediation Practicum that allowed Molly to conduct mediations at Denver County’s Small Claims Court and the Denver-area Better Business Bureau to settle civil suits and complaints.
Once Molly graduated from LSU, she clerked for the Honorable John Wheeler at the Arapahoe County District Court. There Molly worked on a civil docket along with appeals from the County Court. After her clerkship, Molly practiced employment law on the Western Slope. Eventually Molly returned to the Front Range and has been passionately practicing employee-side, employment litigation ever since.
In her spare time, Molly enjoys reading, biking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
